best friend

my best friend is a very physically fit person, he works out three days a week and on all the other days he has some sort of training for baseball. He is not a tall person, but he isn't short. he is asian and italian creating a unique facial structure. He wears clothes according to the styles of the "Jocks." He always says,"dude, come on!" whenever I say no to working out with him. His thoughts are focused mostly on athletics and fitness. But, he is a great person to hang out with because we share opinions on most topics.

my best friend might appear to be an egoist, his what's in it for me personality is that of a teenage boy, but underneath, at least to me his is an introvert, he isn't always thinking about intellegent things but he is always worried about his appearence, hense the compulsive physical activity.

Catch-22: tone

The author uses tone not to descibe the thoughts of the narrator or the characters. Satire is heavy in the tone, the entire book is making fun of a group of soldiers and what they have to face in day to day life. The book skips around a lot and is multiple characters stories, from the one all knowing narrator. It is mainly the story of a man and the hysterics of war and what a joke it is to everyone, an example, he gets premoted because he gets people killed. Please if you want to read this book do it over a time period that allows you to actually understand it. or you will hate it with a burning passion of 100,000 white hot suns.
