#2.

The book i'm reading outside of class is Catch-22 it is a very confusing book at the begining but is slowly (and boy, do i mean slowly) turning onto a book i might like or recommend. It's very hard to actually start reading this book the first 80 pages made me want to vomit everywhere in confusion, i had no clue who anyone was or what was happening besides World War II. The Dominant literary element is imagery he creates vivid pictures in my mind, I just have no clue how they fit together. I think he uses imagery because creating pictures through writing is easy. (I am in fact saying i think the dominant literary element was formed of pure laziness, AKA: I really dislike his style) The tone of the novel so far is dramatically cynical, he wants to kill everyone he sees.

When I feel the need to get lost in a good book I tend to gravitate towards a pillow fort during a the weekend. It is just a small soft comfortable space where my music ois playing and I can feel relaxed, because I am away from the stressors of normal life. On the week days I normally just sit in a chair and go for it, which sadly, doesn't work 100% of the time. Outside is the worst possible place for me to read becasue I always end up being more interested int eh bug crawling across my book than the words printed on its pages.

When a book starts out slow I tend to get bored. I'll continue to read it until about halfway through and if the action hasn't picked up by then the book will end up under my bed squished between the hotwheels and a water glass. But when I find a book that can interest me within the first pages it won't last three days.
