The book i'm reading outside of class is Catch-22 it is a very confusing book at the begining but is slowly (and boy, do i mean slowly) turning onto a book i might like or recommend. It's very hard to actually start reading this book the first 80 pages made me want to vomit everywhere in confusion, i had no clue who anyone was or what was happening besides World War II. The Dominant literary element is imagery he creates vivid pictures in my mind, I just have no clue how they fit together. I think he uses imagery because creating pictures through writing is easy. (I am in fact saying i think the dominant literary element was formed of pure laziness, AKA: I really dislike his style) The tone of the novel so far is dramatically cynical, he wants to kill everyone he sees.
